The Order of Eastern Star is a voluntary organization so you must "Ask 1 to Be 1", to ensure that you are joining on your own accord.
How to become an Eastern Star?
First ask if you meet basic Eligibility Requirements.

Each candidate must believe in a higher power.

Be 18 years old or older.

A resident of Nashville, TN for a minimum of 6 months.

Be capable of reading and writing.

Be of good moral character.

Be recommended by two Eastern Stars in good standing.
If you meet those requirements you must then follow these steps:

Find a Chapter near you: Research and locate a chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in your area. Many chapters have websites or social media pages with contact information.

Attend Events with that Chapter: Some chapters hold open meetings or events that are available to the public. Attending these can provide insight into the organization and help you meet current members.

Express Your Interest: Once you’ve connected with a chapter, express your interest in joining. Be honest about your situation and your desire to be part of the organization. Remember TO BE 1 ASK 1!

Complete the Application Process: If the chapter is open to your membership, you will likely need to fill out an application and possibly go through an interview or screening process.

Attend Initiation: If accepted, you will participate in an initiation ceremony, which is a significant part of becoming a member.
