Asenath 3 is an Eastern Star chapter operating under the Most Worthy Eden Grand Chapter and associated with the Most Worshipful Genesis Grand Lodge AF & AM of the State of Tennessee. We are a dedicated group of individuals committed to fellowship, community service, and personal growth. We proudly embody the principles of charity, truth, and loving-kindness.

Our History

The founding members of Asenath 3, Sister S. Renee Watkins, Sister Jamillah S. Allen, and Sister Moira E Frierson, were motivated by a shared vision of unity, respect, and community service and decided to establish a new chapter to ensure that the values of the Order of the Eastern Star could be bully realized in a harmonious and supportive environment. They also sought to create an organization that would foster personal collective growth, emphasizing fellowship, and a commitment to charitable works with a focus on building a positive environment where all members can thrive.

The name Asenath was chosen for its rich symbolism and deep meaning. Asenath is associated with devotion to Neith, an Egyptian goddess of wisdom, creation, and strength. This reflects the values of wisdom, resilience, and creativity that the chapter strives to embody.

The number 3 was chosen to honor the journey of the three founding members, Sister S. Renee Watkins, Sister Jamillah S. Allen, and Sister Moira E. Frierson, as they came together to create the chapter. In numerology, 3 represents creativity, communication, problem-solving, and optimism-qualities that guide the mission and purpose as the chapter works to serve and uplift the community.
